TEHRAN – The spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said on Wednesday that the production of heavy water has not been stopped, insisting that the production is continuing with the same pace as before.

 Behrooz Kamalvandi said while the previous U.S. administration bought 30 tons of heavy water from Iran, the current Trump administration has been making serious efforts to prevent the sale of heavy water by Iran.

Nevertheless, Kamalvandi said, Iran has its own connections with the world and is able to sell its heavy water.
